Sorry for the late post but Max Toy released a bunch of one day licensed items at Wonderfest 2015 Summer (more toy pics soon). Some of what was released included more cool Yokai figures .. sorry we do not have extras and I can not sell them outside the event (!) So do not email me about them (haha)
Also had a informal gathering over the weekend to paint some toys with Monsterkolor paints 🙂 It was cold and windy .. typical SF weather, but a good time talking Kaiju toys.
and last but not least here’s a peek at my custom for the upcoming Kaiju Gals “Happy Birthday Parade” show in Tokyo. See previous posts for more info and if you’re on Facebook they have a page under Kaiju Gals, so check it out for all the other artists involved as well 😉

And coming up August 7th – 12th, 2015 in Japan is the Kaiju Gals, Happy Birthday Parade custom show. More info via their web site: http://kaijugals.wix.com/hpd-parade
This is weird and funny … so Kaiju Eyezon is waaayyy in the background in this new movie called Trainwreck !
Thanks to good buddy, the super talented Jimbo Matison – http://jimbomatison.com – who helped dress the set in this scene as well as did the interior design for the bar it takes place in. Jimbo and I go way back, in fact part of my Japanese toy collection was in his Chronicle book, So Crazy Japanese Toys ! ( http://www.chroniclebooks.com/titles/so-crazy-japanese-toys.html ) and he’s the guy who inspired me to come up with a Japanese toy magazine … not to mention making me “think” outside the box on my projects. A true renaissance man !
I have a several versions of Kaiju Eyezon toys and art work in this upcoming museum show at MOAH – Museum of Art & History, in Lancaster, California. There’s a bunch of artists in it and you can get more details on a Vip opening this Friday via their web site: http://www.lancastermoah.org
Also have a small run of hand painted mini Alien Argus in the museum store. Not sure if they will be posted online or not, but maybe send them an email if you have interest.
Yes, Art Toys or in this case, Kaiju toys in a museum 😉
