King Negora, x2 Ultraman ( edit now sold out !), Dolphin Patrol

Well, you guys are awesome and our drop of the Sunlight King Negora, and two different colorways of our officially licensed Ultraman figure are now Sold Out ! Thank you so much and please give me a few days to pack all the ordersย  ๐Ÿ˜‰

Also, a tip, if you missed any of them, check the listings as sometimes orders do not go thru and I randomly will pop them back in stock … just a heads up about that !

Max Toy Table TE17 Dcon Exclusives Part 1

Hi Folks ! Here’s the first round of Dcon ( http://www.designercon.com/ ) exclusives we’ll have at our Max Toy Company table TE17 ( end aisle ).

Also look for special micro runs and one offs from Jay222, Javier Jimenez, Doug Hardy, Michael Devera and Todd Robertson !!

Plus we’ll bring some stock items ( figures, pins, keychains ) as well. I will be at the booth pretty much all day Saturday & Sunday (minus some walking around time) so look forward to seeing you all ! As you know, I rarely attend USA shows and haven’t had a booth/table in the US in 8-9 years ? ;-P

Mark Nagata / Max Toy x Marusan TV

Had the pleasure and honor to be interviewed by Marusan President Eiji Kaminaga for his Marusan TV channel while in Tokyo a few days ago. Actually it feels like a week ago with my jet lag ;-P

It’s alway cool ( to me ) to hear history about the vintage Japanese toys I collect. Once the cameras stopped I kept asking more questions too !

Kaminaga-san was kind enough to give me a copy of his book about the history of Marusan toys. It’s all in Japanese, which I can not read ;-( I told him to do a version in English, haha … but he said it might be possible in the future.

To be honest, this mug, is like the best thing I got on this trip (!) It’s like being on the Kaiju Tonight Show !!

During this interview, I revealed something I’ve worked on for about two years now .. what is it ? You have to watch to find out !

Max Toy Updates

Here’s some recent Max Toy updates that sold out so fast that I didn’t get a chance to post about them ;-P My apologies to those who could not get one of these … believe me I’m trying to order more.

Pre Order Cat Kaiju King Negora

Kaiju King Neogra ! Clear with Red Glitter infused into the vinyl with painted details. Kaiju King Negora Cat stands aprox 10 inches tall x 6 wide X 6.25 inches deep and can be posed into several stances !

Please note, this is a PRE ORDER. We will take orders for the next few weeks ( up to a pre determined quantity, so we may stop orders at any time). We will than place our order with the vinyl factory. From there it goes to the painting factory than shipped to the USA. This process typically takes from 6-8 weeks. However, delays do happen and this can add another 1-2 weeks. There are no cancellations and refunds only in the event we can not deliver the product to you. To this date we’ve run Pre Orders without any issues. I will post here any updates once we place the orders.

Pre Order Pink King Negora

Well after 3 months, the pre order King Negora is done and shipping from Japan ! It should be about a week or so till I can start my shipping here in the USA .. but at least there is a end pointย  ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thank you to everyone who ordered and waited ! There’s only about x20 of them, so you got a great figure coming your way and very limitedย  ;-P I;m not sure but might have a couple of extras .. not sure till they arrive so stay tuned.

By the way had a blast at Dcon, didn’t make it to all the booths I wanted too, but hey I’m old and walking around for hours is tough going (!) If you’ve not gone before I’d highly recommend it for these types of toys and art.

King Negora Pre Order

( pre orders are closed, thank you I will update on the production as I learn more info, thank you ! )

Hi Folks ! Now taking pre orders on a new King Negora ! Sorry for the not so great photoshop colors (!) but the final figure will be on light Pink vinyl, with Purple, Red and blue sprays.ย  Pre Orders will be up for about 7-10 days. I’ll close them and begin production, but as usually please allow 30-60 days for them to be completed. Factory delays most likely will happen, so just keep that in mind. Many thanks !

Sold Out ! Sorry about that folks, we only had x3 sets for sale and they went super fast. Ameri-Cat vs Bat-Cat. @shifty_toys customized the Bat-Cat and I have to say from the paint app to the custom cape by @bunnykftwr stunning work !!! We’re working on a new series so stay tuned and yes this time we’ll make more available ๐Ÿ˜‰

And finally spent sometime filming stuff for a future project .. but that’s all I can say !
