Pre Order Pink King Negora

Well after 3 months, the pre order King Negora is done and shipping from Japan ! It should be about a week or so till I can start my shipping here in the USA .. but at least there is a end point 😉 Thank you to everyone who ordered and waited ! There’s only about x20 of them, so you got a great figure coming your way and very limited ;-P I;m not sure but might have a couple of extras .. not sure till they arrive so stay tuned.

By the way had a blast at Dcon, didn’t make it to all the booths I wanted too, but hey I’m old and walking around for hours is tough going (!) If you’ve not gone before I’d highly recommend it for these types of toys and art.

11th Anniversary Max Toy Company

Hard to believe we are celebrating 11 years !! Many thanks to fans both old and new for your support and kind words over the years. We have some cool things planned both near term and into 2018. I have to thank firstly my wife and son ( Max ) for their love the support. It’s not easy being self employed and on top of that be in the arts field. Big props to Yo-san in Japan for all his production help and full commitment to Max Toys. To the many artists and designers past and present my gratitude for contributing to the Max Toy history.

I’ll be at Dcon ( http://www.designercon.com/ ) Saturday Nov 19th, 2016 only. I’ll be roaming around but best chances if you need to see me (haha) are around the Rotofugi booth 902, I’ll have some custom figures for sale. But also check out our special Negora collab with artist, Josh Mayhem at Corner 12 booth – 732.

Galaxy Rosco Bears

A special edition of 7 Rosco Bears painted by Mark Nagata in a Galaxy style ! Rosco is the character and toy by http://www.fantastisch.mx , artists Bela Alvarez and Oscar Juarez. I decided to approach this custom run by leaving the serene face of Rosco, but pairing it with a Space galaxy setting. Using Monster Kolor paints, each piece is hand painted and while similar, each is unique.

My work is airbrushed and hand painted acrylics on illustration board. About 11×14 inches. Original art for sale only, sorry no prints 😉 My concept was simple, showing Astro Boy three ways, Mecha guts, Normal outward appearance and a spacey Galaxy look 😉 Anyways, always glad to flex my art side of my brain from time to time… and it’s not a Cat ! ;-P
