Pre Order Pink King Negora

Well after 3 months, the pre order King Negora is done and shipping from Japan ! It should be about a week or so till I can start my shipping here in the USA .. but at least there is a end point 😉 Thank you to everyone who ordered and waited ! There’s only about x20 of them, so you got a great figure coming your way and very limited ;-P I;m not sure but might have a couple of extras .. not sure till they arrive so stay tuned.

By the way had a blast at Dcon, didn’t make it to all the booths I wanted too, but hey I’m old and walking around for hours is tough going (!) If you’ve not gone before I’d highly recommend it for these types of toys and art.

11th Anniversary Max Toy Company

Hard to believe we are celebrating 11 years !! Many thanks to fans both old and new for your support and kind words over the years. We have some cool things planned both near term and into 2018. I have to thank firstly my wife and son ( Max ) for their love the support. It’s not easy being self employed and on top of that be in the arts field. Big props to Yo-san in Japan for all his production help and full commitment to Max Toys. To the many artists and designers past and present my gratitude for contributing to the Max Toy history.

I’ll be at Dcon ( http://www.designercon.com/ ) Saturday Nov 19th, 2016 only. I’ll be roaming around but best chances if you need to see me (haha) are around the Rotofugi booth 902, I’ll have some custom figures for sale. But also check out our special Negora collab with artist, Josh Mayhem at Corner 12 booth – 732.

BatCat vs Joking Cat ! Shifty Toys collab with Mark Nagata, customizing mini Kaiju Negora 😉 Our follow up to the BatCat vs AmeriCat sets.

BatCat was painted by Shifty ( https://www.instagram.com/shifty_toys/ ) , features custom glove spines, Batarang and hand sewn cape by @bunnykftwr !!

Joking Cat is hand painted by Mark Nagata with acrylics and each features custom sculpted hair. Both are based on 70s versions of you know who.

New TriPus & Chubz the Cat

Been a busy week here at Max Toy ! First we have unveiled two new sofubi kaiju ! Sculpted & redesigned by PicoPico is our brand new Kaiju TriPus !

you can transform Tripus by gently heating the head, popping off the eye and turning head over, plugging it back into the body and replacing eye into the open hole. Really cool way to make him look different !

Above is the test shot in vinyl (left side) and the original sculpt by Pico Pico (right side)

And the new header card painting for the package by Mark Nagata 😉

First release very soon at TaiPei Toy Festival and on this web site …so stay tuned for details !

And our latest collab with awesome artist, Jay222, is his creation and sculpt of Chubz the Cat ! Here’s the test shot in vinyl looking very full ;-P

Chubz is a two part figure, head and body.

Chubz will debut at TaiPei Toy Festival and here very soon so make room in your Cat Toy collection for him !
