Hi All ! I hope you are doing well and staying safe ! I wanted to update you on Max Toy Pre Orders and Shipping Updates.
Shipping: For those who may not know, because of the worldwide virus, ALL shipping via EMS ( which we use for International shipping and for getting our stock from Tokyo) has been severely delayed ;-( Stuff will ship but see the delays below.

Pre Orders: Currently the Glow In Dark Ultraman figures are just about done at the factory in Tokyo. They should ship out this month. BUT, as stated above, they may take 3-4 weeks to get to the USA ;-( I’m so sorry about that.. but it’s out of our control.
Hopefully this will get better soon.. but as you know with fewer planes flying out these delays may be here for awhile.

Thank you again for the support and I hope things improve for the whole world soon… but to be honest I think we all will have to make adjustments going forward. As my 94 year old mother told me ( over the phone ) , that’s life and you just have to go with it (!) She should know having experienced many things in her life, including being in an internment camp during World War 2, and having breast cancer twice ! So, be positive and we will get through this !

Transformation Ultraman ! Newest fully licensed Ultraman figure from Tsuburaya Productions and Max Toy Company !! The factory in Japan really did an amazing job on this figure which was cast in Clear soft vinyl with paint work.

See over 300+ Kaiju toys from the Mark Nagata collection, take a VR tour of Nagata’s studio, play the Eyezon video game and see the short movie about Mark Nagata’s art and toys, “In the Clutches of Kaiju “ !
In addition, at the museum learn more about the internment of Japanese Americans during WW2 and the modern day repercussions.

My exhibit, “Kaiju vs Heroes”, has been extended thru July 7th, 2019 at the Japanese American National Museum !!!
From the museums Press release: Kaiju vs Heroes: Mark Nagata’s Journey through the World of Japanese Toys, which features hundreds of contemporary and vintage Japanese vinyl toys, has been extended on view at the Japanese American National Museum through July 7, 2019. The exhibition is included in regular admission to the museum. In conjunction with the exhibition’s extension, the museum will host a day-long separately ticketed Kaiju-Con on June 15, 2019.
Super honored by the awesome reception this exhibit has received from both Kaiju fans and non Kaiju fans ! More importantly, the exhibit has allowed me the chance to reflect upon my Japanese American heritage and connect with many diverse people who were not aware of the internment of Japanese Americans during World War 2. I’m grateful that by extending the exhibit thru July 7th, 2019, many more will not only see a super fun exhibit but also learn more about the internment and it’s affects on Japanese Americans.
