Yo-san will be attending Wonderfest February 2nd, 2020 at the Max Toy table 7-04-09. These Toho exclusives can not be sold outside of this Japan event. No sales to USA or elsewhere. We can not get the license for the USA, so for the time being we can not offer them for sale outside of Japan. Sorry about that ;-( There’s more toys for sale at this event, so follow Yo via Instagram: @quackmaxx

Happy Holidays from Max Toy Company ! Wishing you good Health and Happiness in 2020 ! We’re entering our 15th year (!) and have a bunch of cool projects to show you guys. As always, we could not keep making toys without your continued support and both Yo-san and I appreciate it !
Friday, I will start taking Pre Orders for a very exciting figure … So check back here, or your email or Instagram @maxtoyco !!

This particular show is only licensed Tsuburaya Productions characters and as with most things only for sale in Japan. Fear not, we will be releasing a similar Baltan set and new Ultraman figures soon for the USA !

Have two custom painted Kaiju TriPus in this weekends Clutter Holiday show. Please get on their mailing list and also check out the participating artists for your Holiday gifts (!)

and it’s that time of the year.. for the Top9 thingy … personally I have no idea how they calculate this stuff but here’s 2019’s image:

At least glad to see lots of Tsuburaya stuff made the listing ! As always, thank you, thank you for the continued support of Max Toys and my past exhibit “Kaiju Vs Heroes” at the Japanese American National Museum. I keep thinking I’m going to slow it down, but we’ve already got a lot of new projects for 2020 ( Including one super HUGE one that I can’t wait to reveal ! ) and a long term one that I think people won’t see coming … as with a lot of stuff I’m not putting all my eggs into one basket so no hints just yet 😉

Now Sold Out ! – This micro run of Kaiju Eyezon by Michael Devera was painted as a homage to the classic Marusan Godzilla blue vinyl with silver spray and painted red eyes. Sold out to Max Toy club members… sorry about that ! Next time we will post them up in our web store for others to have a chance at them .. but look for new Eyezon collabs soon !

Kaiju Vs Heroes, my exhibit at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles California closes July 7th, 2019. See over 300+ Kaiju toys from the Mark Nagata collection, take a VR tour of Nagata’s studio, play the Eyezon video game and see the short movie about Mark Nagata’s art and toys, “In the Clutches of Kaiju “ !
In addition, at the museum learn more about the internment of Japanese Americans during WW2 and the modern day repercussions.

Also, the past Kaiju Con featured a number of events that were videoed and have been posted up:
