Max Toy Updates March 22, 2015

Excited to be offering you a micro run of Alien Argus figures exclusively thru Vinyl Kaiju Legion web site. It’s been a few years since offering a full sized Argus so nows your chance to grab one of only 3 in this edition πŸ˜‰ They go up for sale on Monday. By the way, while you’re there check out the cool toys they have for sale and if you’re looking for something be sure and email them… cool folks !

I’ve been slowly adding a few new customs to the web store including this clear with guts mini Kaiju Eyezon, plus more coming up.

Also the Max Boy figure is at the iron molds factory so hope to have test shots in about 10 days, than off for paint masks. I think a late April / May due date (!) While ALL of my figures I love, this one is really a very personal one and I’ve thought about it for many, many years πŸ˜‰ Thanks to the oh so talented Javier Jimenez for the super cool header card posted here as well.BY the way, congrats to Javier on raising nearly double the funds he needed for his upcoming Wananeko soft vinyl figure. I’d keep my eye on this kidΒ  πŸ˜‰

And, don’t forget, our Nyagira Cat online show ! Full line up and show card posted. All the pieces will be posted on April 10th, via maxtoyco.com. More details as we get closer, and if you search under #Nyagira you’ll see some really cool in progress customs !

Coming up more customs for ToyConUK HangGang & KaijuMonsteR booths and a FOE gallery custom show all in April. Ringo Racoon should be up for sale in the USA too, we sold a few this past Saturday in Osaka… but don’t worry the same figure will be here too.
Pre Ordered Painted King Negoras should also be done end of March, for early April shipping, thank you for waiting.

Tiny delay in the next Hello Kitty Kaiju release at JANM but it’s in production and looking like a April release. The show has been extended thru May with new additions so be sure and check it out.

Toy blogger and Artist Andy Heng who runs TOYSREVIL (http://toysrevil.blogspot.com/2015/02/toysrevil-turns-ten.html) blog, celebrates his 10 years of blogging and promoting Art Toys & Toys. I’m honored to be asked to help Andy celebrate .. details soonΒ  πŸ˜‰ I had the pleasure of meeting Andy in Singapore several years ago. Not only a good guy and gentleman, I really don’t know how he does it all on his own at a nearly 24/7 pace ! His passion for Toys and Art is evident and we wish him much success for the next 10 years ! Go Andy !!!

New Max Toy Kaiju items & show info

Happy New Year ! Lets get right to it .. first go on over to Kaiju Vinyl Legion, they will be offering this micro release of hand painted Kaiju Eyezons ! Limited to 4 pieces, each hand signed and painted by Mark Nagata using Monster Kolor paints.

This Saturday, check out the Text & Pictures show at Giant Robot, I have this hand drawn pen & ink Kaiju text artwork in the show. Sorry for the small-ish pic, but it’s about 8×10 inches on bristol paper, framed. Retail is $125.

I’m getting 6 of these special GID King Negora. The special part is we used blue glow vinyl, the result is well blue glow πŸ˜‰ The remaining pieces are now in the web store: http://www.maxtoyco.com/shop_item.php?id=969

Also shown is the decomasu of our newest character Ringo Racoon πŸ˜‰ Designed and sculpted by Pico Pico. This hand paint is used to make the metal paint masks … first release very soon, so stay tuned.

You’ll also notice that we have a revamped web site ! It was along time coming for sure .. let me know if you find any glitches or if something about it bugs you ;-P It will take awhile but hope to repost the old content at some point too.
