Here's the inspiration for the figure via Google:  Coatlicue ("Serpent Skirt") is the Aztec goddess of earth, life, and death, representing both creation and destruction. Known as Tonantzin ("Our Mother"), she is the mother of gods like Huitzilopochtli, often depicted with a skirt of snakes, a necklace of human hearts, and a severed head. She is highly revered, with her cult linked to the hill of Tepeyac before the Spanish conquest.  Box shipping only due to large size.
